Sept is here

I can't believe that Sept is alreaady here..

I got new TV today. I brought dad's birthday gift. I went to Big Lots!, I got great deals from there. Not so bad. Sometimes I like Big Lots! but not all the time.

I am not going to Austin due to money problems and also I had to get new TV that is important part for me. Hope soon I will go to Austin and see my almost 2 months old nephew.

Isaac hit New Orleans on Anniversary of Katrina

Pray for people of New Orleans, Louisiana as they are bracing for Hurricane Isaac exactly 7 years after Hurricane Katrina ripped through the city. Isaac is on the same path of Katrina’s did in 2005. I hope Isaac is not bad as Katrina was. It is kind of weird.

Today is the 7th Anniversary of Katrina that ripped New Orleans. Isaac have hit the city as well today.

Remembrace of the Flight 255

Today is the 25 years anniversary of NW flight 255 crash.


In remembrance of the victims of the crash of the Northwest Airline flight 255 that crashed on August 16, 1987 in Detroit, Michigan which was the second deadliest aviation disaster in U.S. history and the first deadliest in Michigan. Flight 255 never forget. They are still in my thought after 25 years. Never have stop thinking of them.

I have been thinking of the sole survivor of flight 255, a 4 year old little girl who survived the crash, Cecelia Cichan. She never left my thought from the day one when she was rescued from the wreckage and thinking of what she was doing since then. 

I was 15 when it happened and I never forget that day. It never left my mind. 

It was so close to home when it happened.

Had the roof fixed

I had the roof fixed. Roofers replaced whole roof with new roof. It was damaged from the hailstorm/tornado from last March which the tornado had hit Dexter, Mich. I am so glad that it is all fix hope no more damages. Can't be helped if it happens again, oh well. I had few damages that need to be done to be fix. The part of the deck is damaged but same house construction that fixed my roof will fix my deck. They did inspected everything and did saw some damages on the deck from the hailstorm/tornado, they told me that they can fix it like clean the deck and repaint the deck for me. I am so lucky. I am not sure when they will start fix the deck. I hope soon before winter comes or next spring for sure.

Had fun shopping

I had fun shopping.  I went to both TJ Maxx and Target.

I looked around TJ Maxx and found few shirts that I brought. They felt good, I can't wait to wear them. Hope to go back for more later on.

Went to Target to get 2 bins. I always like to shop at Target. I always love to shop there.

I am glad I got the chance to shop in those 2 stores that I didn't get chance to from last weekend due to my strain ankle. It is doing ok that I am not in much pain.

I got my ankle twisted.

I got my left ankle twisted 2 days ago. Yesterday was bad day due to blackout that my town got. I wouldn't be able to post my blog at all. Plus my ankle was hurting and I am sure that I got strain ankle. Picture of my strained ankle here. the bandage does help lessing the pain while I am walking. I am little limping with the bandage on. I am keeping my ankle wrapping up for few days on and off. Off for bed and shower that all I am doing.

I am glad that I still have the bandage from my last strain. It was not the first time I had strain on my left ankle.

August is here

I can't believe August is here already. Times have gone fast and soon Summer will be over.
I cancelled my Cleveland trip for some reason that it was bad timing. Plus I was feelings that trip will be bad for me.
Hope I will find something to do this weekend instead.
