Doing Ok here

I am doing ok so far.
Today had been 6 months since Hurricane Sandy. Still are recovery and building take lot of time due to funds and insurances to pay. It takes long time to go back where we were before Sandy.
this last weekend was very quiet. This coming up weekend will be other quiet weekend. I need to find something to do this weekend.

Manhunt of the bomb suspect end.

Few hours ago the law enforcements chased the 2nd suspect all day and finally caught him and he is in custody. I wanted a word from him to know what is the motive of him doing the bombing of the Boston Marathon what for. He is terrible kid. I don't care if he was lovely kid but he is not a lovely kid after attacking people at the marathon with bombs. I am really upset with him. He is EVIL!!! don't give any damn about him being lovely but he is NOT.

Tuesday I went out and shop. I got new summer clothes, I felt better. I found few things I wanted to get  will get them later when I get my check in 2 weeks. I will clean out my old ones and sent it to goodwill. I am glad that I found some shorts that I like it is comfortable. Being comfortable are important.  Went out to get food yesterday and I am broke,  need to put my coins that I save to put in my account on Monday before they takes some of my money out for fee payment.

Terror in Boston Marathon

Boston Marathon has been bombed. 3 people are dead, more than 100 people are hurt badly near the finishing line. My sister was running in the marathon, she make to the finishing line about 15 mins before the explosions. I am so glad that she was alright. I freaked out if she got hurt or something. Also I was worried about few of her friends who were there with her. I am wondering what are the motive of the explosions for that the "terrorists" did. I hope the FBI, MSP, others can find the suspects.

I need to go out to get the marathon terrors out of my mind. Hoping for tomorrow.

Yesterday was the 4th anniversary of the Sandy Hook massacre. I feel weird about that with the attacks today.

April is here

Wow April is here already.
Weather was wonderful this last weekend in time for Easter. My Easter was ok, too quiet.

I found out the news last Sat that Chicago's Michigan Ave and State Street (Magnificent Mile and in the gold coast) was taken by 500 teenagers and terrorized people there like attacking people, pick a fight and pushing people around. They even attacked a cop on horse. Where ARE the parents, seems like parents can't control the teenagers those days anymore and lies to cops for them. That was so stupid. If I have teenager there terrorizing people, I would have tough talk to them not to do that and ground them. Maybe left them in jail for them to think hard that attacking people are not right.

If I was in Chicago and I won't be safe anymore because of this teen mob took over the gold coast. That is not good.

This Easter, I have been thinking of the Sandy Hook's victims. It will be 4 months since the massacre on April 14th.

Mother Nature vs Father Winter

I guess this year that Mother Nature and Father Winter were at war with each other this winter (2013) as they get along very well last winter (2012) that I didn't get much of snow and much colder temperatures than this winter 2013 that I got lot of snow and much colder temperatures.

In January the coldest month of the year. Febrauary was not so bad but still got lot of winterstorms as last one in last week of Feb was so bad. Right now we were supposed to get snow along with the winterstorm hitting in south of Michigan yesterday but seems the storm had miss Michigan as the storm already hit few states there. I hope Michigan will not get more snow later on.

This coming up weekend Michigan will get springlike temperatures in time for Easter. I am anxiously for it.

One Year Later of Dexter Tornado

Anniversary of the Dexter, Mich tornado that hit a year ago today, over 200 homes and businesses were damaged. Recovery from the tornado is still in recovery. Some people wouldn't afford to repaired the houses or rebuilding.

yesterday was 3 month since Sandy Hook. Soon it will be 5 months since Hurricane Sandy in end of this month.  This winter was normal with lot of snow and snowstorms. We had lot of snow this winter than last winter of 2012. Winter 2012 was very warm and it was alike Spring.

Busy Day

I am home about 11pm last night. Landed about 8:30pm and didn't get home until 11pm. Oh well. I had my dinner so late since there were no dinner on the plane. I enjoyed my veggie soup, my favorite soup and also easy to heat up. My rule after get home from traveling at night or afternoon, I won't cook full dinner. Always make easy dinner, like heating up fozen pizza, soup or whatever is easy to make and that won't take me too long to make.

My trip to Austin was great I got to see my baby nephew. He loves me and always smiles at me all the times every time he saw me. On first night in Austin, I got to see the bat flying out of the bridge as I always wanted to see and I got to take pictures of the bats. The week was good and the weather was very nice everyday warm and etc.. We ate together twice as family. It was very nice. Hope next time will be longer vacation. I love homemade dounts and homemade pizza. YUM!! so good.

Pappy is home. I picked him up this morning and I saw something on his front legs and I freaked out. I had to call the vet about it. He was checked out 2 hours ago. He is fine, I am sure he was stressed out that why he broke out rashes. Now he is on skin cream medication which I need to put it on his front legs. It was really busy day and little exhuasted of course for him. He is sleeping right now.

I have feelings that tonight won't be good night for me since I am worried about him being so tired and need to be watched. But Pappy is fine physically but he is exhausted.
