Will miss them

I will miss them, my brother and my nieces. They left today to head back home to Texas. I hope to see them soon but not sure when. I had fun with them for 2 weeks.
I am still thinking of going up north with my best friend for few days, maybe stop by in Traverse City on the way back home or on the way up but I think I would like to do that on the way back home. Will talk to my best friend about that and start planning for next summer. I will book boarding for my dog so I don't have to worry about him.

Back from the Trip

I am back from the trip, got home so late last night but the day at Mackinac Island was great but didn't do the Mackinac Crossing mall there but I hope that I will go back there soon that mom plan to go to Minnesota for some break and I agree, that I felt that I would like to have some break as well.
We did stop at Sleeping Bear Dunes. I was so happy to get a chance to see the park.  We stayed at Great Wolf Lodge, did the waterpark there where I fell and hurt my elbow but I fix it like clean it up to prevent infection.  I love the water rides, they are awesome and my 2nd niece like them as well that she rode them with her dad (my brother)

I hope do up north with my best friend maybe next summer if she wanted to. I am thinking of going to Florida but not sure when because need to save money for that. For Up North I don't think need that much money between us, but I will make sure I save enough.

Trip is in progress

Trip to Northern Michigan is on. We leave tomorrow for Traverse City, stay there for about 2 days. I am hoping to stop by at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park on our way to Traverse City. I like Sleeping Bear Dunes, I never been there before. I am sure they are popular park.
I am hoping that we would do Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island maybe on Thursday.

I can't wait. Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island are my favorite places.

Party was great

The Party was great. It was so good to see everybody at the party and was very happy that they got to come. I was so happy to see everyone that I haven't see for long time. I am glad that they all are doing good.
My best friend and her parents came, it was great to see them again. Hope to see them again soon.
It was fun.

My parents were emotional about everyone being there to celebrate with them.

Found some old photos of the family.

I found some old photos of the family for the slide show for the party. My favorites are from the trip that we took in New York that was the first one together. one of the group of New York photos was a picture of World Trade Center, I was in awe to see that in our possessions of photos. I had this feeling that we might had the WTC photo somewhere but it was in the group of photos. It was still amazing to see it. I plan to make a copy of it and frame it. I sure others would like to have a copy of their own as I still plan to make for them.
the anniversary party is still in plan and it is getting closer. People are on their way soon for the party. I am getting excited.

Proud!

I am proud of my nephew. He graduated last night from HS.
He is going to Indiana University this fall. I can't believe that he is growing up and off to college. He is awesome kid that I am proud of.
party planning are doing well. It is getting close in 3 weeks.

June is here

wow I can't believe June is already arrived.
Next Friday my nephew will graduate from HS and this coming fall he will be entering his first year at Indiana University.

By the time in the end of June We will be giving my parents their 50th anniversary party, it would be fun. It will be great to see all the oldest family friends that we haven't seen for years. I can't wait to see my friend and her parents who will be attending the party.

Update of my infected leg. it got better after 3 weeks with me being on medication for 2 weeks. I have slow heal immunity systems meaning that my body heals so slow, usually heal up to 2 to a month to heal and get better. It was the worse infection I ever had beside my blood clot before but it was not a blood clot this time, it was bad infection.
